Chelsea make top four finish despite losing away from home against Aston Villa 1-2 with Ben Chilwell scoring the only goal for the Blues in their last Premier League game.

A good first-half encounter when it comes to the number of opportunities for both teams who created but only the home side could make it count as they manage to take the lead against their opponent.
Chelsea was totally in control as they bossed the game creating numerous amounts of opportunities that they couldn’t make count despite going close on many occasions in front of the goal.
Aston Villa continued to ensure that they didn’t concede while they push forward causing so many problems for the side who need a win for them to secure their top-four finish which is something need for the Blues.
The home side finally took the lead in the 43rd minute of the encounter which saw Bertrand Traore ensured his strike beats Edouard Mendy to make it 1-0 against their opponent who was good in the match.
The first half of the encounter came to an end with Aston Villa 1-0 Chelsea with both teams heading for the break with an advantage over to the home side who ensured things went their way.
Second Half Report Aston Villa 1-1 Chelsea
The second half was more entertaining with more coming from the game which saw more opportunities being created and the top four finish a thing the visitors were putting at risk.
Aston Villa doubled the lead against their opponent as Anwar El-Ghazi converted from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 in the 52nd minute after a bad challenge from Jorginho on the first goalscorer in the game.
Chelsea were poor as the game progressed which already saw Thomas Tuchel making his change that saw Edouard Mendy being substituted after picking up an injury with Kepa coming in and couldn’t save the penalty.
Timo Werner scored for the Blues in the 60th minute but unfortunately, VAR ruled the goal out for offside which saw from Azpilicueta before Hakim Ziyech was brought in to replace Jorginho.
Ben Chilwell was about to pull one goal back in the 70th minute after a good buildup play saw Christian Pulisic setting up the defender who made it 2-1 with a brilliant finish.
The match came to an end with Aston Villa claiming a massive win against Thomas Tuchel Chelsea 2-1 but they finish fourth on the League table with Leicester City losing.
