Chelsea have officially confirmed the signing of free agent Malang Sarr on a five year contract after leaving Ligue 1 side Nice.
The player was signed as a free agent after his contract expired with his former club Nice.
Sarr spend the 2020/21 season out on loan which will enable get more playing time elsewhere.
It will also give him chance to gain valuable game time and add to his experience.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said:
‘The opportunity to sign Malang was one we could not miss.
He is a tremendous prospect and we will be monitoring him closely during his loan period, hoping he will soon be back at Chelsea.
We are very happy to welcome him to the club today.’
Sarr won’t play for Chelsea yet as he will be loaned out according to reports reaching us.
The Club is looking to bring in more defenders with Thiago Silva currently going though medical.
Malang Sarr deal was already made for him to come in and go out on loan for more exposure.
It is not known if he will ever play for Chelsea or just another player going out on loan and get sold.
The Club is set to announce more major signings before the end of the transfer window.
