Goals from Jorginho alongside Recce James and Kurt Zouma helped Chelsea beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 in the Premier League opener.

The first 45 minutes was poor from both sides who did everything possible to take the lead as one goal was recorded.
The match saw Chelsea hand Kai Havertz and Timo Werner their debuts with both players giving a good account of themselves.
Brighton & Hove Albion did threatened but failed to convert and make it count for themselves.
Jorginho scored from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute of the game after Ryan committed a foul on Timo Werner.
The first half ended 0-1 as Frank Lampard side headed for the break with the advantage.
Second Half Report Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Chelsea:
The second 45 minutes was full of excitement from both sides who recorded at least a goal with three going in.
Brighton & Hove Albion struck first in the second half as Trossard made it 1-1 in the 54th minute of the game.
Immediately Recce James struck a thunderbolt in the 56th minute to put Chelsea 2-1 in the match.
Couple of chances went begging from both teams who were unable to finish off from good opportunities.
Kurt Zouma later made it 3-1 for the Blues after a scramble in the penalty area with Recce James cross.
The game ended with Blues taking the win as they finish off the home team at the Amex 3-1 in the Premier opener.
