Another shocking loss for Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea lost the Emirates FA Cup final by a 0-1 result against Leicester City with Goal from Youri Tielemans in the second half.
First Half Report Chelsea 0-0 Leicester City
Both sides gave a good account of themselves going forward in the first half of the encounter which they both created opportunities but couldn’t make it count when needed the most.
Leicester City were perfect at the back which saw them being able to deal with every attacks thrown at them by their opponent who had control of the game going forward.
Chelsea almost made it count on many occasions as Timo Werner was able to break the Foxes defense but his finishing was poor and couldn’t hit the back of the net despite going close twice.
The game was played mostly in the midfield which saw the Foxes closing up the Blues who were not given much chance to operate with the likes of NGolo Kante and Jorginho struggling.
It finally came to an end in the first half of the encounter which saw them both heading for the break with Chelsea 0-0 Leicester City after an amazing 45 minutes of football.
Second Half Report Chelsea 0-1 Leicester City
It was more of the same in the second half of the Emirates FA Cup final which the two teams continue to push forward hoping to get the opener which was very difficult to come.
Chelsea was quite a bit wasteful in the early stages of the second half which wasn’t that good as every time Timo Werner had the ball he was quickly attacked and kept on giving the ball away.
Leicester City finally broke the deadlock from a Youri Tielemans who smashed a 25 yard strike which made it 0-1 for the Foxes after an amazing buildup play before the goal.
The game progressed without any goal coming from the two teams who created more opportunities until Ben Chilwell scored but VAR ruled the goal out for offside in the 89th minute of the encounter.
It finally came to an end with Chelsea 0-1 Leicester City which saw the Foxes winning the Emirates FA Cup in the first time of their history with the empathic victory at Wembley Stadium.
