Chelsea is now the only club after Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland with Barcelona recently dropping out of the chase as a new update makes headlines with the January transfer window entering day one.
The Blues hopes of signing the young Norwegian is high right now after the Spanish giant Barca have hit a dead end after they ruled out making anything move for the prolific striker.
Erling Haaland agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that he hasn’t spoken to the new Barcelona presidential candidate if he will be making a move for his client when he wins the election leaving a window for Chelsea to enter.
It was reported that the running candidate has seen the 20 year old as a potential player he will sign when he takes charge of the Presidental role in the club if he eventually wins the Election.
According to Josep Maria Minguella, who is Rousaud’s aide, he also confirmed that the 20-year-old Norwegian international would join Barcelona if Rousaud landed the post as President.
Speaking to Sport1, Raiola Talked About The Move:
“Fake news. I’ve never talked to any presidential candidate of Barcelona regarding Haaland and I won’t do.
“If there will be a new president elected in January, he can call me.”
This news will be a boost to Chelsea and the rest of the big-name clubs interested in landing the youngster’s signature during the January transfer window.
