Chelsea Is edging closer to completing a move for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir as the Blues submit £29.5m deal according to latest reports.
The Blues are weighing up a bid for Trabzonspor’s Ugurcan Cakir and according to reports the deal might be completed soon.
Cakir has made 51 appearances so far for the Super Lig side and has also featured twice for the Turkish national team.
The 24 year old is thought to have a £29.5million price tag on his head if any club wants him.
He is an alternative option to Sheffield United’s on-loan Manchester United stopper Dean Henderson.
Chelsea will be looking to sign a goalkeeper as world record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga has proven not good enough.
On the other hand Ugurcan Cakir might be a replacement for Caballero who is aging and only have one year remaining.
Another goalkeeper Chelsea has shown interest is Ajax Andre Onana but the deal looks likely not to go through.
