Chelsea Step Up Nick Pope Chase As They Bid £50m (See Details)

Chelsea have made Nick Pope their top target to replace Kepa Arizzabalaga and are ready to meet Burnley’s £50m asking price to sign him.

Frank Lampard might be smiling once again as the Blues step closer in signing a new goalkeeper.

Chelsea are eager to find a replacement for Kepa who has been on bad form for the Blues which saw him conceded a lot of goals.

Nick Pope is Chelsea top target when it comes to landing another goalkeeper, according to the Daily Star.

Landing him might be easy compared to Atletico Madrid Oblak who is worth £120m in the transfer market.

The Blues have been made aware that it could cost them as much as £50 million to land the shot stopper.

Frank Lampard will be looking to pull up all strings to make sure a deal is completed as soon as possible.

Other goalkeepers on Chelsea’s shortlist include the likes of Andre Onana, Dean Henderson, and Oblak.

Oblak is the most expensive which put his signing in doubt while Dean Henderson and Pope are worth £50m.

With Manchester United in talks with Henderson, it is uncertain they will be able to sign him.

A deal for Kai Havertz is also ongoing with his Club who are still in the Europa league cup.
