Chelsea are still open to complete a move for West Ham United player Declan Rice as they table another new £60m bid for the defensive midfielder.

Rice has been impressive so far for West Ham in their midfield, and he has seen the Blues chasing him since last season.

The Chelsea tried to sign him in the summer transfer window but it was too late as they were hoping to ship out players.

According to reports from The Athletic, those at Stamford Bridge are confident that Rice won’t discuss terms of a new contract with West Ham.

With over £253m spent on players like Edouard Mendy, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, and Hakim Ziyech.

Frank Lampard is still eager to bring in Declan Rice which a £60m bid has been made for the player.

The deal won’t be coming easy as West Ham United are also doing everything possible to extend his contract.

Chelsea will be hoping to complete the move ahead of January window as they look to bring back their former Academy player.
