Chelsea Won’t Get Covid-19 Discount For Kai Havertz Deal – Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen won’t be looking to give Chelsea discount on the deal to sign Kai Havertz as they demand full payment or no deal.

The Blues are in for a rough ride as Leverkusen is proving too tough to crack to complete a move for their midfielder.

Chelsea has been told to pay £90m for Kai Havertz but they are unwilling to meet up with such fee.

On the other hand the German International is ready to leave the Club he established himself.

Voller told La Gazzetta dello Sport About Kai Havertz Move To Chelsea:

“No, but with his talent, it means he’s on the list of all the best clubs.

He has a two-year contract, if anyone wants him on our terms, fine, otherwise he stays here another year and we are happy.

“It won’t be easy, but for an artist like him there is no COVID discount.”

In Voller’s opinion, Havertz is tipped to become one of the best player to ever come through their ranks.

He Added:

“For me, he’s the best I’ve seen at Leverkusen, and I’ve been here for a lifetime.

We had Emerson, Michael Ballack, Ze Roberto, Toni Kroos, but he’s on top,” Voller said.

Voller said Havertz reminds him of Ballack and Mesut Ozil, adding:

“He takes the best bits from both of them.”

Voller Talked About Havertz Not Leaving After The Conclusion Of Europa League Cup:

“Of course he will play in the Europa League quarter-final, also because he wants to,” Voller said.

“I am a bit old-fashioned, for me a season is over when it all ends.
