Amb Agbolaya JP who is also a leader in Bowen ward while, making the presentation to the communities disclosed that the essence of giving back to the communities is to support the people in the critical time of 14- day lockdown order by the state government whereby people are not going to their daily businesses which is one of the best precautionary measures swiftly taken by the state government against COVID 19.
Some items presented to the communities to assist their stresses and hardship being passed through include : Bags of Rice, Cow and other stable food items.
At Ugbuwangue another Warri community , Amb Agbolaya and Charles Akiri in a joint effort also presented relief materials to support them in order to have relief at the moment they can not participate fully in their business activities due to the state government COVID 19 order suspending it.
Amb Agbolaya and Akiri were commended for their kind gesture to the communities as well as their kindness to their people.
Speaking briefly to newsmen shortly after the donation, Ambassador Agbolaya JP, noted that they are privileged and happy to give back to the society from the little they have to put smile on faces of Warri people, he advised people to adhere strictly to the stay at home directive by the state government as well as wash and shun handshake and maintain social distancing to stay safe.
It would be recall that on Wednesday April 1, 2020, Delta state governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa pronounced stay at home lockdown order for all resident in the state to contain the COVID 19 virus.
