England was held to a goalless 0-0 draw against Scotland at Wembley Stadium in their second group stages match in the Euros2020 Tournament.
First Half Report England 0-0 Scotland
An end to end first half encounter saw both teams doing so much at the back and going forward as they both couldn’t find a way to break each other down for a goal.
England had more of the ball which saw them making good use of it pressuring their opponent but they just couldn’t find a way to put it past the superb goalkeeper.
Scotland was better in making sure nothing got past them as the Three Lions did everything possible which all led to nothing and the Scottish also made some good threatening runs.
The game entered into the last few minutes of play with both teams still couldn’t find a breakthrough despite all the amount of opportunities created going forward.
The first half of the encounter finally came to an end with England being unable to make things happen against Scotland who were very strong at he back.
Second Half Report England 0-0 Scotland
The second half was more of the same as it started out the same way it left in the first 45 minutes which both teams couldn’t find a breakthrough for a goal.
The game proved to be a difficult one for England who were thinking it will be an easy ride after beating Croatia 1-0 in their opening game which saw Raheem Sterling scoring the goal.
Scotland continued to be a problem the Three Lions couldn’t solve as they tried everything possible but no way to get through on goal with the solid midfield and defense.
Some changes were both for both teams who removed Billy Gilmour, Harry Kane and Phil Foden with Jack Grealish and Marcus Rashford coming in for the three lions who were poor in their finishing.
The match finally ended with England unable to make things happen as they decided to settle for a goalless 0-0 draw against Scotland.
