Sam Karr alongside Pernille Harder and Leupolz all scored as Chelsea women thrashed Everton away from home 3-0 to increase their lead on the Barclay’s WSL table as they draw closer to winning the title.
First Half Report Everton 0-1 Chelsea
It was a good first half encounter which was excellent from the visitors who controlled the game until they were able to get one goal which came very early in the 45 minutes of the encounter.
It took Chelsea Women just 13 minutes to score the first goal after a nice buildup play saw Fran Kirby finishing off neatly to make it 1-0 with good effort which went past the goalkeeper.
Everton was able to get a grip of the game as they maintained a solid line all through the remainder of the half which also saw them creating some good chances which failed to hit back of the net.
The first half of the encounter ended 0-1 as they both headed for the break with advantage to the League leader who leaved up to expectations in the encounter.
Second Half Report Everton 0-2 Chelsea
It was more from the Blues who dominated the entire game while scoring two more goals to finish off the encounter in the second half which was exciting.
Everton had things good going well until the 60th minute when Pernille Harder scored an amazing goal which made it 2-0 after some much attacks thrown at the home side who couldn’t hold on anymore.
Chelsea carried on controlling play as they made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute thanks to a wonderful strike from Leupolz who ensured she didn’t miss as she got her name on the scorers sheet.
The game progressed with less coming from the home side as it ended with 0-3 which went in the way of the London club side who finished off with all three points in the bag.
