Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz has confirmed that Kai Havertz have already made up his mind about joining Chelsea for next season.
The player has already agreed to join Chelsea after personal terms was agreed but Leverkusen are the one holding the move.
The Leverkusen coach also confirmed the deal for Havertz to join Chelsea is just waiting a ‘decisive call’.
The German youngster is tipped to be Frank Lampard next signing after the success of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Both players cost Chelsea £89m and Havertz is the next in line to follow his countryman.
Peter Bosz Talks About Kai Havertz Move:
“I won’t tell, it’s his business,” Bosz told German news agency DPA.
“I talk to Kai a lot and try to sense what all this does to him about the daily transfer rumours.
For example and I notice again and again that Kai handles it very well.”
When asked if he knew when the expected move would happen, Bosz said:
“It’s impossible to say, Maybe the decisive call will come today, maybe next week, maybe not at all.”
Meanwhile, there are also links from other top clubs like Bayern Munich alongside Real Madrid who are also interested.
Negotiations between Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen are already in advance stage as of now which gives them the upper hand.
