“I Play Offensively” – Kai Havertz Talks After Being Played Out Of Position AGAIN!

Kai Havertz has come out to talk about where he prefers to be played by Frank Lampard who seems to be playing the German on different positions since his arrival to the Club.

The Germany International has been mostly played out of position which has lead to many fans criticizing his time with the Blues and questioning the huge fee paid to get him from Bayer Leverkusen.

Although Kai Havertz has admitted that he is okay to play whichever position Frank Lampard wants him to play as long as he keeps getting playtime to get more experience and understand the league better.

His start to life at Chelsea hasn’t been so good as he has only scored once in the English Premier League and made two assists in the Champions League plus a hat-trick against Barnsley in the League cup game.

The prolific player has been moved around the pitch of play a lot which sometimes he has played in the number 9 role and mostly as a winger on many occasions so far this season for Chelsea.

Kai Havertz Talks:

“Of course I like to play offensively but in Leverkusen I think I played in every offensive position, so for me it doesn’t matter what position it is,” he told the Chelsea website.

“I am very happy to play and at the moment it doesn’t matter which position.

We have a lot of good players, you see that on the pitch and I am just happy to play.

The player hasn’t been too comfortable has he had shown less of the quality he is known to possess back in Bayer Leverkusen which where he was scouted by Chelsea team before making the move.

He Added:

“I am feeling better. It is not easy when you are out for two or three weeks not doing anything, you lose your whole fitness level.

I am two and a half weeks back now in training, feeling good, better day by day.

“Of course there is a lot of room to improve but I try my best in training and the games and hope to help the team.”
