‘It’s Time For Me To Move On’ – Willian Bids Chelsea Farewell As Contract Comes To End

Willian has bid his farewell to Chelsea fans as his contract is set to end this August after attempts to renew his contract failed.
The winger has now confirmed he will be leaving Stamford Bridge as he bids farewell to continue his football career elsewhere.
Frank Lampard was eager to have Willian in his team but the two years contract offered to him wasn’t good enough as he needed three years.
The player will be a free agent at the end of August which is when his contract will expire with Chelsea.
Willian joined Chelsea from Anzi in 2003 and he went on to make 339 appearances for the Blues.
The player won the English Premier League alongside FA Cup, Europa League Cup amongst others.
He was instrumental to the success of the club for seven years with them and now he bids his farewell to Chelsea.
The Blues recently welcomed two new signings in Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech to their ranks.
Ziyech will have to face few competitions for playing time with Willian out there are only the likes of Callum Hudson Odio.
Christian Pulisic also plays the wing position which Mason Mount also ply sometimes.
