Liverpool tried to stage a comeback but getting one goal proved to be a tough task.

Everything was just against the Reds as they were denied opportunities breaking down their opponent.

Oxlade-Chamberlain conceded an own goal which made it worst for the away side as Manchester City went 4-0.

Late drama as Mahrez scored the fifth goal but it was later ruled out after VAR review.

The match ended with the Citizens running away with a 4nil victory over the new premier league champion.
