Manchester United needed extra time to beat Norwich 2-1 as they book FA Cup semi final ticket with goals from Ighalo and Maguire.
First half was a goalless affair for both sides with Manchester United creating more goal scoring chance.
Norwich also had some part to play in making things difficult for their opponent as they sit back and defend.
The game was filled with errors from both teams in the early minutes as most of their passes were misplaced.
Ighalo came close but couldn’t convert as Jesse Lingard whose effort was well wide on goal.
The first 45 minutes ended with nobody able to score but United were the better team.
The second 45 provided two goals which one each came from both sides thanks to Ighalo and Cantwell.
Odion Ighalo scored the first goal of the game with just 51 minutes played as he converted neatly to make it 1-0.
The game was far from over as Norwich pulled level through Todd Cantwell in the 75th minute to make it 1-1.
The second 45 minutes ended in a draw which took the match to extra time before a winner could be decided.
First Extra Time:
The first 15 minutes provided little entertainment as Norwich was playing with a man down.
Manchester United did all the attacking which was frustrating to them as Norwich’s goalkeeper was up to the task.
A couple of saves and misses saw United unable to score before the end of first 15 minutes.
Second Extra Time:
Manchester United finally got the much needed win from Harry Maguire’s goal.
After pressuring Norwich they finally got the goal that gave them the win thanks to Maguire.
