Chelsea are set to make January move for Sebastian Walukiewicz who is dubbed as Thiago Silva successor with the Brazilian not guarantee to last long due to his age which is 36 years old.
Chelsea have been looking at possible moves to occupy the center back position which Andreas Christensen and Anthony Riduger has been relegated to the bench throughout the season.
The possible are also hoping to get David Alaba who is free to sign a deal by January and complete the move to Stamford Bridge after the end of the current season which will be for free.
According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport via the Mirror reports that Walukiewicz has been identified as the man capable of taking over that position when Thiago Silva moves on.
The Cagliari player recently signed contract extension with his club which will make his price in the transfer market high up to a possible £54 million and he is 20 years old.
The deal looks possible to go through but Chelsea will have to face competition from Manchester United and other top teams who are currently scouting Sebastian Walukiewicz with a possible move in place.
Frank Lampard will be hoping to get the youngster but other options are also available with the likes of Sergio Ramos could possibly be on the market for free if talks with Real Madrid fails.
