Thomas Tuchel will be considering his decision concerning Billy Gilmour which might see the young being relegated back to Chelsea developmental team with him not getting much game time as a senior player.
The player has been linked with couple of loan move away from Stamford Bridge which was blocked and now it looks like he won’t be seeing much senior team action if he is being relegated to under aged team.
Billy Gilmour is set to return back to Chelsra developmental team as Thomas Tuchel still want him to remain with club but for him to get more playing time he will be doing that with the under aged team.
It hasn’t been very good for the Scottish youngster who broke into the first team after Frank Lampard took over from Maurizio Sarri who was sacked just after one season as manager of the Blues.
Gilmour was instrumental last season when the club was going through injury crisis which he stepped up and made it count and since then he featured for some other games until his injury.
Coming back into the team only for Frank Lampard to be sacked and his loan move away from the club was blocked, which he is also set to be relegated back to the developmental team.
Chelsea are preparing to drop Billy Gilmour back into their development squad as he won’t be able to feature much for the senior team with Thomas Tuchel taking over, according to reports from football.london.
The highly-rated Scottish midfielder saw a possible loan move in January blocked off, as Thomas Tuchel looks to keep him around, but a lack of senior minutes will see him figure for the Blues’ U23 side this week.
Chelsea next game will be against Liverpool this Thursday after coming out from a 0-0 draw against Manchester United yesterday and it will be another high profile game for the new manager.
