The second 45 minutes resumed with Valladolid reorganizing their defense which made it hard for their opponent to break down.

Barcelona front three of Messi, Suarez and Griemann threatened the Real Valladolid defenders throughout the game.

Despite all every efforts made by the laliga Champions to get another goal none was able to go in.

The match ended in the 1nil scoreline giving Barcelona hopes of catching up with league leader Real Madrid.
