Real name Stanley Omah Didia, he is born to a family with deep music roots in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Omah Lay’s grandfather was a legendary Highlife singer Celestine Ukwu until his death way back in 1976.
His Dad was also into music but as a drummer, he never got to the level of his father Celestine Ukwu.

Oh Lay is an Afro-Fusion singer and when you listen to any of his songs u get that Wizkid kind of vibe.
According to the new kid on the block, he says:
“I easily weave through Afro genres but the vibe would always hit me first as Highlife
“I guess it’s hugely due to my massive highlife exposure growing up in a music family like mine.
Omah is also a music producer and he writes and produced all his records to fit his own taste and sound.
Omah Lay takes the music industry by surprise when he dropped his first single dubbed ‘You’ back in February 2020.
Since then it has been successful all the way as the song has garnered almost 600,000 streams on all platforms.
Omah Lay has also been tipped by Native Mag on their March episode of ‘Fresh Meat’ as an artist to look out for this year.
The singer recently dropped his anticipated EP titled ‘Get Layed‘ last month May and it features 5 tracks.
