Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic who have been targeted by Manchester United and Liverpool and the American has come out to give some interesting details about his planned summer move elsewhere.
Pulisic has decided to fight for his place at the club and ignore the transfer links coming from top clubs in Europe, as he will be looking to stay longer than expected despite him being ignored by the new manager.
The United States Of American was a key player for Chelsea as they secured top 4 last season when Frank Lampard was still the manager, although he couldn’t help the Blues as he was injured in the final of the FA Cup which Arsenal won.
However, Christian Pulisic finally gets to start under Thomas Tuchel in their last game against Leeds United which ended in a disappointing draw at Ellen Road as the Blues prepare for a much bigger game against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
Tuchel has preferred to use Mason Mount, Timo Werner and Callum Hudson-Odoi on the wings ahead of the former Borussia Dortmund player since completing his taking over from Frank Lampard following the sack.
Why Christian Pulisic Won’t Be Leaving Chelsea
But, According to Football and Transfer Expert, Fabrizio Romano, he thinks Christian Pulisic wants to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge, with hopes of him staying instead of looking for a move elsewhere.
“Christian Pulisic is a great professional at Chelsea, very respectful,” Romano tweeted.
“Top clubs are interested in case he’ll leave, normal for a player of his quality.
“Pulisic is still fighting to stay at Chelsea and nothing will be decided until June.”
With so many attacking players available, it will be difficult for Thomas Tuchel to keep everyone happy at Chelsea as they are also linked with more moves which includes Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
