Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has come out to sound some warning to other EPL teams of his plans for the club going forward with the goal of winning more trophies which have always a thing.
Roman Abramovich has given an incredibly rare interview in which he has spoken to the media at length for the first time in 15 years of taking over as the new owner of Chelsea football club.
The club owner is rarely seen spoken out during his spell, but makes a few exceptions from time to time which previously made public statements in 2018 and 2019, relating the Holocaust and Chelsea’s ‘Say No to Antisemitism’ campaign.
Roman Abramovich also gave a comment about Frank Lampard’s sacking in January, which is the first time he’d done so when firing a manager since his reign as the owner of the club over 17 years.
He is not known for speaking out in public as he rather let himself stay behind the scene and let his employees do the talking and business concerning the club transfers and other issues.
He has now given another interview with Forbes, which is his first since 2006 where he talked at length about his plans for Chelsea moving forward and so much more.
