Michael Kane own goal in the first half gave Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham a much needed 1nil victory over Everton as Spurs get back to winning way.
The first 45 minutes was an end to end display of good football which saw one own goal in favour of Tottenham over Everton.
Harry Kane got an early breakthrough to go forward and score but he was quickly called back for offside.

The goal finally came in the 24th minute as Michael Keane for Everton put the ball inside his own net to give Tottenham a 1-0 lead.
The first 45 minutes ended with Spurs taking the advantage as they headed for the break.
The second 45 minutes didn’t produce any goals but there were so many chances created by both teams.
The tempo of the game wasn’t really great with both teams being too careful not to concede.
Everton tried everything possible to pull back level but it was proving too thought for them to get the goal.
Dominic Calvert Lewin went in close but the strike was blocked by the home team who cleared with ease.
Jose Mourinho’s side continued to control the ball possession with 52% while Everton left with 48%.
Heung-Min Son failed to hit the target with a shot from outside the box in the 64th minute.
Calvert Lewin came close in the 82nd minute but his effort was neatly saved by Hugo Lloris.
The match ended with the 1nil scoreline which saw Tottenham claimed a famous victory over Everton.
