West Ham 0 – 2 Chelsea (Barclay’s Women Super League) 2020/2021 | Watch Match Highlight

 

Chelsea recorded another amazing 2-0 win away from home against West Ham United Women as Sam Kerr and Bethany England both scored in the Barclay’s Women’s Super League game today to remain top of the League table.

It wasn’t so much easy for the Blues who dominated the first half of the game all through and despite creating so many chances on goal, they could only get just one past the goalkeeper.

Sam Kerr opened things early in the 7th minutes which saw the Australian International smashed one past the goalkeeper to make it 1-0 for Chelsea who were brilliant before getting the much needed goal.

West Ham United had some good runs of their own which were dealt with easily by the reigning Champions as the game progressed which we also saw some brilliant pieces of defending coming from the home side.

The first half of the encounter ended with 0-1 in favor of the Blues as they both headed for the break with the advantage going the way of the away team who were the better side amongst the two teams.

 
Second Half Report West Ham United Women 0-1 Chelsea Women

It was more of the same with the home side also proving to be a problem to their opponent who also controlled the second half of the encounter making sure they were able to seal off the game and get the win.

West Ham United continued to push for that equalizer after going down in the first 45 minutes of the game, but it proved difficult as the Blues wasn’t letting anything go past their defender as their new goalkeeper Musovic was impressive in her debut.

Chelsea some doubled their lead in the 47th minute which came through from England’s International striker, Bethany England who finished off brilliantly to make it 2-0 for herself as the game opened up more with chances.

The game progressed without anything coming from both teams except miscalculated opportunities and plays which couldn’t result in any goal from the two sides who had some fair amounts of it going forward as they entered the last few minutes.

The encounter finally ended with a 2-0 victory which went to the away side after a very tough game which the home team had some good display as their last meeting wasn’t a good one for the Hammers who conceded more goals.
